Lemon pie with meringue is a delicate filling of lemons with a "cap" of whipped proteins on a sand dough - such a dessert will not leave anyone indifferent ... the taste is simply magical, everyone will certainly like it! Of course, it takes time to make it, but, believe me, it's worth it!

To prepare a lemon cake with a meringue, we need the following ingredients.

 For the test:
 2 cups of wheat flour;
100 g of butter;
 3 yolks; 0.5 tbsp. Sahara;
1 teaspoon of soda; 1 teaspoon of vinegar;
 peel 2 lemons.

 For lemon cream:
1 cup of sugar; 2 tbsp. tablespoons of starch;
 5 yolks;
 juice of 3 lemons.

For meringues:
3 protein;
1 glass of powdered sugar.

To prepare the cake we take the softened butter, grind it with flour, add the yolks, the soda is slaked in the vinegar, the lemon zest and mix the short dough. We put it in a mold and bake it in the oven.

Now prepare the lemon cream: whisk yolks and sugar, put on a steam bath, add lemon juice and starch, keep on the steam bath until the consistency of sour cream. Then we take the baked cake and grease it with the cream.

We prepare meringue: whisk the proteins with sugar powder to a stable consistency, lay the meringue on top of the cream and put it back into the hot oven for 10 minutes.

The cake is very tender and airy.
