London.
When I stood near the monument to Churchill, I involuntarily remembered the long-known story of a Scottish farmer.

In the early twentieth century, a Scottish farmer saved the life of a boy who was drowning in a swamp. The next day after the incident, the grateful father of the child came to his house, who turned out to be a very wealthy gentleman.
"Did you save my son's life yesterday?"
"Yes, I am," answered the farmer.
- How much do I owe you?
"Do not offend me, sir." You do not owe me anything, because I did what a normal person should have done.
- No, I can not leave this just because my son is very dear to me. Name any amount, "the visitor insisted.
"I do not want to say anything more on this subject." Bye. The farmer turned to leave. And then his son jumped out on the porch.
- Is your son? Asked the rich guest.
"Yes," the farmer replied, stroking the boy's head.
- Let's do so. I'll take your son with me to London and I'll pay for his education. If he is as noble as his father, then neither you nor I will regret this decision.

Several years have passed. The farmer's son graduated from school, then - a medical university, and soon his name became known worldwide as the name of the person who discovered penicillin. His name was Alexander Flemming.
Just before the war, one of the wealthiest London clinics with the heaviest form of pneumonia was received by the son of that same gentleman. What do you think that saved his life this time? - Yes, open by Alexander Flemmingom penicillin.
The name of the wealthy gentleman who paid for Flemming's education was Randolph Churchill. His son's name was Winston Churchill, who later became Prime Minister of England. Winston Churchill once said: "What you did to you will return."
